Carleen Palmyra Swingler is a true renaissance woman.

Carleen’s career started in the corporate world holding positions of Administrative Assistant and Head of Human Resource for companies such as; National Starch & Chemical, Henkel, Merck Pharmaceutical, Conrail, FedEx, Verizon and NJ Division Motor Vehicles.
But with a bit of luck, when the corporate world slowed Carleen landed a role in an Off Off Broadway production of “Black Wall Street”. From her live theater performance, she was given a role in a Reality TV cooking show called, “Cook Yourself Thin”, which included a book of the same name. This caught the attention of another casting director which landed her a part in the Film “Just Wright” featuring Queen Latifah and Common. She was then featured in a commercial for Sterling Bank of South Africa, followed by an appearance in the Nickelback music video “If Today was Your Last Day”. Carleen also graced the pages of the May 2009 Star Magazine.
The acting experiences were fun but Carleen felt a stronger desire to pursue her longtime interests in cosmetology and fashion.
In May 2009 she started her own fashion accessory company, SwingBagz, LLC. where she was able to express her entrepreneurial savvy and creativity designing and marketing innovative cell phone purses with her two daughters.
Carleen also joined a national beauty salon company and quickly became one of their top hair stylists.
Carleen is a very outgoing person, likes to cook, dance, sing, act, exercise, swim, cut hair, travel make people happy and serve the Lord.
Carleen’s Specialties also include Public Relations, Purchasing, Event Planning, and Sales & Marketing. She is also a member of the Women’s Venture Fund, New York and a proud original member of The Fierce Group, a group of positive people with a positive mission!
Carleen is Blessed to still have her mother living at the age of 83 living a normal life. But cancer has also touched her family and she is grateful to be able to say those family members are among the survivors.
